A lot of people aren’t aware of the power of words. But words have the power to bring out the best, or the worst in you. To lift you up, or tear you down. With your words, you can either empower or dis-empower, both yourself and those with whom you share your words with. And that is why it is so important to pay close attention to the words you use, and

Maya Angelou was a wonderful wordsmith as well as American Poet Laureate for years. Watch her gentle teaching style on YouTube “The Power of Words”. She knew things beyond the realm of just words.
I never remember who coined the phrase “Stick and Stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me.” but in my not so humble opinion they were WRONG! Sticks and stones will break you bones but words of ill intent can break a soul and spirit. Use your words gently.
