I run this one ever so often with a new combinations to set the mood. Let your imagination be your guide. This saved me so many times when my kids notified me at bedtime I needed to have something for the school bake sale the next morning.
Basic Recipe
1 Box of your favorite flavor cake mix
1 Cup Chopped nuts (Optional)
½ Cup Vegetable Oil
2 Eggs
1 Cup Confectioners Sugar to Coat
Directions
Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step 2 mix cake mix, nuts, stir to coat nuts, add vegetable oil, and eggs together in a bowl until dough is smooth. Roll in confectioners sugar before dropping 1 to 2 tablespoons batter per cookie onto a prepared baking sheet.
Step 3 Bake in the preheated oven until cooked through, 6 to 10 minutes. Cool cookies on baking sheet for about 5 minutes; transfer to a sheet of waxed paper to cool completely.
Note: These Cookies will never look ‘done’ as they don’t brown up like a traditional cookie does. You may use any cake flavor you like to combine with any other flavors you like to combine; i.e. lemon poppy seed, chocolate chips and fudge frosting. Frost or don’t frost to your heart content.
Always stir in nuts, berries, or other additions in the cake mix before adding moisture to make sure the add in stay evenly distributed in the batter. Make what you want they are a great tread for emergency entertainment needs for children or adults.
