Ground Beef and Potato Casserole
  • 2 Pounds Ground Beef
  • 1/2 Pound Bulk Hot Italian Sausage (Optional)
  • 1 Onion, Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic
  • 2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper, Or To Taste
  • 1 (26 Ounce) Jar Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 (16 Ounce) Package Frozen Chopped Green Beans, Thawed
  • 1 Package Shredded Hash Browns
  • 2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
  2. Bake Hash browns on a parchment sheet placed on a baking sheet. Brown at 400 degrees until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. Cook and stir ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic and bell pepper together in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef and sausage are completely browned and crumbled, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain grease from skillet and return to heat.
  4. Stir flour, salt, oregano, and black pepper into the beef mixture. Pour sauce over the mixture. Add green beans; bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
  5. Place hash browns on top of all and cover with cheese.
  6. Bake in preheated oven until the cheese is melted and golden, about 15-20 minutes depending on your oven.
