Ground Beef and Potato Casserole

2 Pounds Ground Beef

1/2 Pound Bulk Hot Italian Sausage (Optional)

1 Onion, Chopped

1 Teaspoon Minced Garlic

2 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Sea Salt

1/4 Teaspoon Dried Oregano

1/8 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper, Or To Taste

1 (26 Ounce) Jar Alfredo Sauce

1 (16 Ounce) Package Frozen Chopped Green Beans, Thawed

1 Package Shredded Hash Browns

2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.

Bake Hash browns on a parchment sheet placed on a baking sheet. Brown at 400 degrees until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

Cook and stir ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic and bell pepper together in a large skillet over medium heat until the beef and sausage are completely browned and crumbled, 7 to 10 minutes. Drain grease from skillet and return to heat.

Stir flour, salt, oregano, and black pepper into the beef mixture. Pour sauce over the mixture. Add green beans; bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.

Place hash browns on top of all and cover with cheese.

Bake in preheated oven until the cheese is melted and golden, about 15-20 minutes depending on your oven.
