Chocolate Croissant Panini
1 Teaspoon Butter
8 Teaspoons Butter Melted
8 Mini Croissants
1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Step 1 preheat a panini press according to manufacturer’s instructions to medium-low heat. Coat inside surfaces with butter. May use cast iron skillet and grill press instead.
Step 2 Split the croissant and brush both sides of the croissant with melted butter inside and out. Place 1 tablespoons chocolate chips on bottom of roll. Place top on croissant press with Spatula.
Step 3 grill each croissant in the panini press until bread is toasted and chocolate is melted, 2 to 4 minutes.
Variation: ½ cup crunchy peanut butter; spread 1 tablespoons peanut butter onto half the Sliced Croissant.
