Diva Tasting: No Cook Pastry Cream

If you entertain a lot or just want a quick dessert here is a good helper. This is good for trifles, parfaits, Charlotte Russe or just use your imagination.

No Cook Pastry Cream


1 ½ Cups Heavy Cream

1 (3.4 Ounce) Package Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

3 Tablespoons Sour Cream

1 Pinch Salt


Step 1 Blend heavy cream, pudding mix, sour cream, and salt in a medium bowl using a whisk or a hand mixer set on medium speed until well-blended and smooth. Refrigerate for 5 to 10 minutes.

Notes: Use any flavor instant pudding mix. Substitute creme fraiche for the sour cream if desired.
