Spinach Angel Hair Alfredo
1 Cup Butter
1 Cup Thawed Frozen Chopped Spinach
1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
6 Tablespoons Cream Cheese
1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
½ Cup Shredded Romano
2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Pinch Kosher Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste (Optional)
1 Box Angel Hair Pasta Prepared to Box Directions
Step 1 Heat butter in a saucepan over low heat; cook spinach in the melted butter until warmed, about 1 minute. Add cream and cream cheese to spinach mixture; cook and stir until cream cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
Step 2 Fold remaining cheeses and garlic powder into spinach mixture; season with salt and pepper. Simmer until sauce is thickened and smooth, about 10 more minutes. Pour sauce over prepared pasta in a large mixing bowl and toss to coat pasta. Place in pasta serving bowls and serve with garlic toast, garden salad with vinaigrette and tea.
Note: You can fold in 3 cups of chopped rotisserie chicken for non vegetarians.
