Quick Toaster or Air Fry Treats for the Holidays or Any Day

Hero Garlic Toast

Ingredients

4 Hero Sandwich Buns

1 Stick Butter, Or As Needed

4 Teaspoons Garlic Powder, Or To Taste

Directions

Step 1 Preheat your oven’s broiler, or a toaster oven.

Step 2 Separate the bun halves, and spread butter onto the cut side of each one. Sprinkle some garlic powder over the butter.

Step 3 Broil or toast until golden brown, about 4 minutes.

Baked Mozzarella Sticks

Ingredients

Cooking Spray

8 Toothpicks

4 Mozzarella String Cheese Sticks, Halved

1 Egg

¾ Cup Italian Seasoned Bread Crumbs

Directions

Step 1 Preheat a toaster oven on broil setting, or set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler. Spray a small baking sheet with cooking spray.

Step 2 Insert toothpick vertically into each cheese stick half to mid-way point. Beat egg in a small bowl. Place bread crumbs in a separate small bowl.

Step 3 Dip each cheese stick into egg, then press into bread crumbs. Repeat dipping in egg and breadcrumbs for a double-thick coating. Place cheese sticks on prepared baking sheet and spray with additional cooking spray for uniform browning.

Step 4 Broil in preheated oven until golden brown, 4 to 5 minutes. Allow cheese sticks to set before serving, about 1 minute. Serves 4

Toaster Oven Waffle Sandwich

Ingredients

2 frozen waffles

1 cup chocolate chips, or to taste

2 tablespoons peanut butter

Directions

Step 1 Place waffles in the toaster oven and cook until halfway done, 2 to 3 minutes. Spread chocolate chips over waffles and return to toaster oven; cook until chocolate melts, 2 to 3 minutes.

Step 2 Spread chocolate evenly around waffle using a fork or toothpick. Spread peanut butter over chocolate layer. Close waffles together making a sandwich. 1 Serving

Eazy Hawaiian Pizza

Ingredients

Cooking Spray

1 (10 Inch) Flour Tortilla

¼ (15 Ounce) Can Pizza Sauce (Such As Contadina®)

1 Tomato, Diced And Squeezed Dry With Paper Towels

2 Pineapple Rings, Diced And Squeezed Dry With Paper Towels

1 ½ Teaspoons Dried Basil

1 Teaspoon Dried Oregano

½ Teaspoon Garlic Powder

2 Thick Slices Cooked Ham, Torn Into Bite-Size Pieces

4 Ounces Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

Step 1Heat a toaster oven to 400 degrees. Spray a pizza pan small enough to fit in toaster oven with cooking spray.

Step 2 Heat a large skillet over high heat and place tortilla into the hot skillet. Cook tortilla until heated through, about 5 minutes; spread with pizza sauce and scatter tomato and pineapple pieces over sauce. Sprinkle pizza with basil, oregano, and garlic powder. Arrange ham pieces onto pizza and top with mozzarella cheese. Continue to heat pizza until tortilla is browned and crisp, 3 to 5 more minutes. Transfer pizza to the prepared pizza pan.

Step 3 Cook in the preheated toaster oven until cheese begins to brown, about 10 minutes. 2Servings. Note: You may use any pizza toppings you wish in place of Hawaiian ingredients.

Toast Treats

Ingredients

1 Whole Grain Hero Bun

1 Teaspoon Margarine

½ Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

¼ Cup Miniature Marshmallows, Or To Taste

Directions

Step 1 Toast bread in a toaster oven until lightly browned, 1 to 2 minutes. Spread margarine over toast and sprinkle with cinnamon; top with marshmallows. Return toast to toaster oven and toast until marshmallows are golden brown, 1 to 2 minutes.

Note: The marshmallows will get burnt fast and easily so once you put the toast back in toaster oven, watch it closely. You can also mix in some cocoa powder with cinnamon or even some instant coffee granules. Serves 1

Cookies for 1

Ingredients

2 Tablespoons Butter

2 Tablespoons Firmly Packed Brown Sugar

1 Tablespoon White Sugar

¼ Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Pinch Salt

1 Egg Yolk

¼ Cup All-Purpose Flour

¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda

3 Teaspoons Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

Step 1 Preheat the toaster oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Step 2 Place butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl; heat until just softened, about 10 seconds. Whisk in brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir in egg yolk. Add flour and baking soda; stir until combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Form cookie dough into 2 balls and place on a small baking tray.

Step 3 Bake in the preheated toaster oven until edges are lightly golden, 8 minutes.
