Lemon Shrimp and Pasta


1 Pound Angel Hair Pasta

½ Pound Uncooked Medium Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined

Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

½ Cup Olive Oil

½ Cup Fresh Lemon Juice

¼ Teaspoon Salt

½ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

½ Cup Peas, Defrosted

¼ Cup Chopped Fresh Basil

1 Tablespoon Lemon Zest


Step 1 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook Pasta in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, for 9 minutes. Add shrimp and cook for 3 minutes more. Drain.

Step 2 Whisk together Parmesan cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Add spaghetti, shrimp, and peas to the sauce. Sprinkle with basil and lemon zest and toss to coat. Serve with Garlic Toast and salad. Servings 4

Note: Leave out the shrimp and serve the pasta as a side to grilled meat or fish
