Skillet Chicken and Mushrooms 2
1 Sm. Package Cremini Mushrooms Sliced
1 Bunch Broccoli Flourettes
¼ Cup Chopped Onion
8 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons Minced Garlic
3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
2 Tablespoon Sesame Seeds Toasted (Halved For Garnish)
½ Teaspoon Cayenne
Salt And Ground Black Pepper To Taste
2 Pounds Skinless, Boneless Chicken Breasts, Chopped
Step 1 Whisk onion, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, sesame seeds, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper together in a bowl until marinade is smooth.
Step 2 Cook and stir chicken and half of the marinade together in a large skillet over medium-high heat until chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes. Add Vegetables and mushrooms, pour in the rest of the marinade and cook and stir until done. About 5 minutes. Serve with Basmati rice and jasmine tea. Serves 4 -6
Notes: You may use pork or beef instead of chicken if you choose.
