Vintage Broccoli Casserole


6 Pounds Fresh broccoli, Trimmed And Cut Into Flourettes

2 (10.75 Ounce) Cans Cream Of Mushroom Soup

4 Cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded

1 (6 Ounce) Can French-Fried Onions


Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Step 2 Heat a large saucepan of salted water to a boil; add Broccoli and cook just until slightly tender, about 5 minutes. Drain well.

Step 3 Mix broccoli and cream of mushroom soup, together in a bowl, ½ The Cheddar Cheese; spread into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle remaining Cheddar cheese over broccoli mixture and top with French-fried onions.

Step 4 Bake in the preheated oven until cheese is melted and browned, about 30 minutes.

Note: You may use 2 large packages of frozen broccoli Flourettes or 5 cans, drained, instead of fresh.
