Greens and Mushrooms


5 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 large pkg. cremini mushrooms, sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 bunches mustard greens, coarsely chopped

4 Pieces of Bacon Fried Crisp and Chopped


Step 1 Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until softened, about 4 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute more. Set mushrooms Aside on paper towel and crisp bacon in the same skillet. Remove bacon to the paper towel.

Step 2 Add chopped greens into the bacon grease and cook until greens are tender, about 5 more minutes. Add the mushrooms and bacon and fold in to mix. Serve immediately. Great with cornbread.
