Ribs Slow Cooker

Ingredients

4 Tablespoons Brown Sugar

1 Tablespoon Chili Powder

1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper

2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

3 Pounds Pork Rip Tips

1 (18 Ounce) Bottle BBQ Sauce, Divided

1 Tablespoon Liquid Smoke Flavoring

Directions

Step 1 Mix brown sugar, chili powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl. Rub each rib with dry rub mixture until thoroughly coated. Let rest for 10 minutes.

Step 2 Mix BBQ sauce and liquid smoke until well combined.

Step 3 Place ribs in the slow cooker and pour BBQ sauce mixture evenly over ribs.

Step 4 Cook on Low until ribs are tender, 5 to 6 hours.

Step 5 Set an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source and preheat the oven’s broiler.

Step 6 Remove ribs from the slow cooker and baste with remaining BBQ sauce.

Step 7 Broil ribs in the preheated oven for 3 to 5 minutes on each side.

Serves 6-8. Serve with baked beans, potato salad and garlic toast.

Cherry Cobbler..Quick and Easy

Ingredients

½ Cup Butter

1 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1 Cup White Sugar

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Cup Milk

1 (21 Ounce) Can Cherry Pie Filling

Directions

Step 1 Preheat oven to 275 degrees F (135 degrees C). Place butter or margarine in a 9×13 inch baking dish and set on oven rack to melt.

Step 2 In a medium bowl, mix together flour, sugar, and baking powder. Stir in milk.

Step 3 Remove baking dish from oven as soon as butter or margarine is melted. Pour flour mixture into dish, but DO NOT STIR. Pour fruit evenly into pan, and DO NOT STIR.

Step 4 Raise oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bake cobbler for 50 to 60 minutes, until golden brown. Serves 10
