These luscious loaf pan and bunt treats are good for any season or occasion. Great for Breakfast or as a dessert. Loaf pans serve 8-10; Bunt serve 10-12 each.

LOAF PAN TREATS-Keep Scrolling

Date Loaf

Ingredients

4 Ounces Pitted Chopped Dates

4 Ounces Butter

1 Cup Boiling Water

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

8 Ounces Self-Rising Flour

6 Ounces Brown Sugar

2 Ounces Chopped Walnuts

1 Egg, Beaten

Directions

Step 1 Place dates and margarine in a bowl with boiling water and baking soda. Gently mix with a wooden spoon until margarine has melted and dates are plumped up. Let cool to room temperature, at least 30 minutes.

Step 2 Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Line a 2-pound loaf pan with parchment paper.

Step 3 Combine flour, brown sugar, and walnuts in a separate bowl. Add to bowl with the date mixture. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Add egg and mix in. Spoon mixture into the prepared pan.

Step 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 60 to 75 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack.

Apple Caramel Loaf Cake

Ingredients

Cake:

¾ Cup White Sugar

¼ Cup Applesauce

1 Large Egg, At Room Temperature

1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Cup All-Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon

½ Teaspoon Salt

2 ½ Cups Apples – Peeled, Cored, And Chopped

½ Cup Chopped Nuts

Caramel:

¼ Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tablespoons Butter

2 Tablespoons Heavy Cream

½ Teaspoon Corn Syrup

Directions

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2 Beat sugar, applesauce, egg, oil, and vanilla with an electric mixer in a bowl until well combined.

Step 3 Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt together in a second bowl. Add to sugar mixture and stir to combine. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Step 4 Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.

Step 5 Combine brown sugar, butter, heavy whipping cream, and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Let caramel cool, then drizzle over cake.

Lemon Drizzle Loaf Pan

Ingredients

½ Cup Unsalted Butter, At Room Temperature

½ Cup White Sugar

2 Large Eggs, Beaten

1 ¾ Cups All-Purpose Flour

1 ½ Teaspoons Baking Powder

3 Medium Lemons, Zested And Juiced

Lemon Glaze:

½ Cup Powdered Sugar

2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice

Directions

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Line a 1-pound loaf tin with parchment paper.

Step 2 Beat butter and sugar in a bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder together and fold into the batter until well blended. Add lemon zest and juice and mix well. Spoon batter into the prepared loaf tin and level the top with a knife.

Step 3 Bake in the preheated oven until the cake begins to turn golden brown and a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean, about 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and place tin on a wire rack.

Step 4 Mix together powdered sugar and lemon juice for the lemon glaze in a small bowl.

Step 5 Drizzle glaze all over the top of the warm cake while it is still in the pan. Allow to cool completely, about 1 hour before removing from the pan and slicing into 8 pieces.

Quick Orange Cake

Ingredients

2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

½ Teaspoon Salt

3 Teaspoons Baking Powder

1 ½ Cups Superfine Sugar

½ Cup Cream

½ Cup Orange Juice

½ Cup Vegetable Oil

4 Eggs, Beaten

2 Teaspoons Grated Orange Zest

Frosting\Glaze

6 Tablespoons Butter, Softened

2 Cups Confectioners’ Sugar

2 Tablespoons Orange Juice

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon Grated Orange Zest

Directions

Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease bunt cake pan

Step 2 In a measuring cup, combine Cream, 1/2 cup orange juice, oil, beaten eggs, and 1 1/2 teaspoon orange zest. Set aside.

Step 3 Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a large bowl. Mix in sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk mixture. Stir until thoroughly combined.

Step 4 Divide batter into prepared pans. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.

Step 5 To make Orange Butter Frosting: Cream butter until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Beat in 2 tablespoons orange juice to bring to spreading consistency. Stir in vanilla and 1 teaspoon orange zest.

Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Loaf

Ingredients

Coffee Cake:

1 ½ Cups White Sugar

¾ Cup Butter, Room Temperature

3 Large Eggs

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

2 ½ Cups All-Purpose Flour

1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

1 Cup Sour Cream

½ Cup Chopped Walnuts Or Pecans Lightly Floured First

Filling:

½ Cup White Sugar

2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon

Directions

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Grease a 10-inch Bundt pan.

Step 2 Beat sugar and butter together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract.

Step 3 Whisk flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a separate bowl; add flour mixture in 2 batches, alternating with sour cream, beating batter briefly after each addition. Fold in walnuts. Pour 1/2 of the batter into the prepared pan.

Step 4 Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl; sprinkle over batter in the pan. Drop remaining batter in heaping spoonfuls over filling, covering it as best you can.

Step 5 Bake in the preheated oven for 8 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 40-45 minutes.

Cheese Loaf

Ingredients

3 Cups All-Purpose Flour

5 Teaspoons Baking Powder

1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt

2 Cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

2 Cups Half n Half

½ Cup Sour Cream

4 Tablespoons Butter, Melted

Directions

Step 1 Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Grease a bunt pan.

Step 2 Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and cheese in a large bowl. Mix in milk, sour cream, and melted butter. Stir to form a soft dough. Spoon dough into prepared pan.

Step 3 Bake in preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean, about 34 to 45 minutes. Remove from pan to cool.
