Balsamic Chicken Slow Cooker
Ingredients
2 tablespoons olive oil
5 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, or more to taste
kosher salt and ground black pepper to taste
1 onion, diced
4 cloves garlic; minced
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
½ teaspoon dried thyme
½ cup balsamic vinegar
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 can chicken broth
2 (14.5 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
1 Bag prepared egg noodles
Directions
Drizzle olive oil into the slow cooker. Place chicken breasts on top of oil and season each breast with salt and pepper. Top chicken breasts with onion, garlic, oregano, basil, rosemary, and thyme and onion soup mix. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over seasoned breasts and pour tomatoes and chicken broth on top. Cook in the slow cooker set to High until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, about 4 hours. Serve over prepared egg noodles. 6 Servings.
